All new professional use Valve Guides for the Evolution Lancer 10 4B11 Turbo Engine.
The Tomei Valve Guides are made from Phosphor Bronze (Cn-Sn-P alloy), for its highly tensile and superior heat transferring ability. These properties are vital in high power and high RPM outputting engines. Since race engines these days require more power at higher RPM use with leaner AFR mixtures, these engines now experience more extreme heat conditions which increases the risk of rapid deterioration on the valve train related components. The Phosphor Bronze material has exceptionally lower friction than the stock valve guide materials, and the best possible clearances can be maintained which will in effect reduce stress on the valve train, prevent seizures and cracking under high stress loads.
