Project Car: Yamaken’s Toyota Mark II Drift Car – Part 2

Continuing on from the first part, Yamaken’s JZX100 engine was completed, then the next phase,

to be done was the prototype exhaust. Here you can see the car had been through a transformation.

It was fitted with an all new Vertex wide body kit. It also had a new paint job that Kenji Yamanaka-san had done himself. See how much wider the kit is from stock. That’s one mega Mexi-flush!

Here is our exhaust engineer fitting the fabricated prototype Expreme Titanium exhaust system to the car. Once the car was done, we took it out to Suzuka Twin Circuit for a shakedown (updates on the shakedown will come soon).

Following the shakedown testing at Suzuka, Mr. Yamaguchi of Meister G came to do the livery.

So here it is,

looking pretty good.

Kenji was very happy with the look of the car.

You can see the first part of the build here .

The Result:

Front quarter

Rear quarter
