Event: Formula D Long Beach – Nick D’Alessio

Nick D’Alessio, at Long Beach. This years Formula D rookie, Nick, is driving the #84 1JZ powered S13.

As recently featured on our blog, Nick has recently completed his 1JZ swap and is running the new Tomei ARMS 1JZ turbo in this car. Since Nick is a big fan of Tomei, he got #84. Tomei has always been using the number 84 on all our race cars since the beginning, in Japan. So 84 is the Tomei race car number.

Having more power from a straight 6 engine, will no doubt be very beneficial to help keep up with those V8 powered cars.

I believe it was Nick’s first experience to run at Long Beach. Rest assured you’ll be seeing more from this #84 S13 this year. More updates to come soon.
