As promised, we will be developing all new products for the Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ. Our very own USDM FR-S just arrived today at Tomei HQ Japan.
You may be wondering why we had imported the USDM version to Japan.
The reason is simply to help reduce the time on product development. Since we are in Japan, we can always get our hands on the JDM RHD Toyota 86 & Subaru BRZ versions. But testing and confirming compatibility with the USDM LHD version would always take time. Since Tomei USA is a satellite distribution branch, all our engineers are here in Japan, at HQ.
So you can expect to see regular updates from now on, about our new upcoming products for these models.
Focusing on the engine is what we will be doing.
