Here at TOMEI POWERED, we would like to wish everyone, a Happy New Year!!
Time sure does fly when you are having fun. We have all heard the phrases like, “time flies” and so on. As you get older, it seems that each year feels shorter. Reality bites.
Above is a copy of the Tomei New Year card we have sent out this year. A bit different from the usual Traditional Japanese NY Cards. This year is the year of the Rabbit. Which explains the Rabbit ears on the Tomei logo.
Most countries are celebrating with fireworks, drinking and spending time with friends and family. Here in Japan. New Years is family time. Many Japanese tend to head back to their families home. So this means spending time stuck in 60+km traffic jams on the expressway. Some Tomei staff will be in that traffic Jam too.
So if you think, your traffic jams is frustrating, just remember, there is always someone else who is off worse than you. So please drive carefully and we hope to be seeing/hearing from you this year.
