Finally the long awaited Tomei Expreme full exhaust system for the 2005-2008 MX5 model is here! It has been long in the development as we had tested various types of prototype designs on various car setups. So here is the Dyno results we had achieved in the final design.

As y0u can see in on the Dyno, the powerband has been improved over the entire range. From low engine speeds all the way to the high rpm range.

PRODUCT LAYOUT
The product has been designed for performance gains and for exhaust gas purification (only the
Metal Catalyzer Version) and it’s well balanced. The original factory stock layout has also been retained in this design for the best weight reduction results.

The Flange of the Mufflers position is the same as the stock position. This allows you to retain the stock unit or other aftermarket brands.

EXHAUST MANIFOLD : The Best Exhaust Efficiency

4-2-1 equal length layout design

Uses a robust precise flange, and has the A/F Sensor boss.

The Lost-Wax casting process improves both precision and strength of the product.

By eliminating the first catalyst, we could achieve the best gas flow efficiency and further weight reductions.

METAL CATALYZER: More Power & Cleaner Emissions

The testing of several different types of cells, length & thickness, has led us to this 150cpsi cell design.

It produces the best performance gains with the right smog emissions to comply with street regulations in Japan.
