Here is one of the customers cars of Nissan Prince Tokyo dealership.

This is one of the rare dealership stores in Japan that will offer tuning and modifications on Skylines (often rejected if not standard OEM items on the car at a Nissan dealership). This time, this shop had posted on their own blog, the installation of the new Tomei Advance Spec crate engine,

and the ARMS M7655 Turbine Kit upgrade.

This was done on their customers car. A clean BNR34 GTR! The owner had completely worn out the previous tuned engine. After years of abuse, it was time for a fresh start. Instead of purchasing a new R35 GTR, the owner decided to stay with the BNR34 and start over.

After consulting with Kimura-san at Tomei, they’ve decided on the Advance spec complete crate engine being the best choice. It being in stock helps with the minimal downtime, and a perfectly brand spanking new 600HP RB26 engine.

That combined with the ARMS M7655 Turbine Kit, TOMEI EXPREME Exhaust Manifolds, will make it a complete GTR. Since the optimum sweetspot for the GTR is around the 600HP mark, this is the most popular setup here in Japan for GTR owners for the past few years now.

What they loved about the Tomei Advance Spec engine is that it’s blueprinted, serial numbered, all in the Tomei tradition. So he knows he will be happy with what he has. It’s in fact great value for money too.

So instead of the Nismo spec type GTR’s that are mostly common, he can now say his is a Tomei powered GTR. He looks forward to competing with his Nismo powered friends this year.

The week after Tokyo Autosalon, we had many visitors at Tomei HQ. One of those groups were our Dealers from the US, Kaizen Tuning.

The guys from Kaizen Tuning were here to see what goes on behind the scenes to help them understand more about our products and services.  So since we had extra demo cars here that week for overseas media, they were in for a surprise treat. The above engine bay was the KUNNYZ D1GP machine that has a 2JZ engine swap. This car uses some of our products.

Ziel Motorsports in California USA has a S14 240SX Time Attack Machine powered by an SR20DET being built now.

As you can see, it’s one serious build for a specific use.

This engine has an all new interesting setup from the previous life of a Drift Car.

This car is running a TOMEI SR2.2L Kit, PROCAMS, TOMEI N/A Individual Throttle Bodies and a REYTEC EMS that takes care of the engine and a lot more.

This engine used to be a Genesis crate engine that has been seasoned well for a number of years.

Will be good to see this car completed and ready for Time Attack in 2012. We’ll keep you updated when we get the latest information from it’s build next year.

Flat Primary Exhaust Pressure.

Response Equal to Stock Trim
Generally, a larger turbocharger relative to stock, results in decreased response of the engine. However, we have managed to keep the response equal to that of the stock trim by matching the most ideal turbine and compressor wheel. Countless hours of testing was of course performed to achieve these results.

Increased Peak Power
To achieve an increased peak power with the various restrictions such as the turbo size limit is considered a great achievement. We are also proud of the perfectly instant response where there is no lag and no abrupt boost pressures.

Maintains Boost Pressure at High RPMs
It is evident that the stock turbocharger cannot maintain or extend boost pressure above 5,500 RPMs. The M7760 has the capacity to far extend this limit, making it an ideal step for further advanced tuning.
