FSW Test
After the Autosalon the new 2010 design changes had begun, now was the driving test. The new revised engine specs included a new turbo, new cams and more. (Click here for the new engine specs details). Now with an even lighter chassis as well. The Aerodynamics was not yet touched. The utmost important change this year was the new running shoes of the ADVAN A050!
Our 1st checkup after the intial outing was the engine and it's condition. All looked good without issues. Then with repeated adjustments later to fine tune it in, we then dialed in the suspension setup to suit the ADVAN A050.
In addition the A050 runs with M and GS compounds at tire selections with an actual attack gave us more insight on what setup we needed. We found that we needed a little more testing time, this we no longer had as we needed to pack the car into the container to ship to Australia. So this was the end of testing for now in Japan. We had to leave the rest for when we arrived in Sydney.
