FSW TEST (4th Time)

The 2nd to last test before the car leaves for the US. The FSW base target time of 1min 45secs was set on the last FSW. The car has been finely tuned and adjustments made to the underside of the chassis and the differential. Increased down force on aerodynamics on the front and touchups on the boost settings and ignition timing on the engine.
The test continues as usual.
The previous problems are all slowly being eliminated.
The time attack starts.
After a hot lap it’s back into the pits.
The gears are engaging smoothly and more tuning.
Each specialist attends to their sections and everyone working together as a team.
The setup gets smoother and better each time.
And finally a new best time is set of 1min 43.6secs.
The gear ratio was not suited for the high speed FSW track as the rev limiter was reached early on the main straight. The climate conditions on the day wasn't favorable for the cars setup but we were still able to record a good lap time. Once again all the settings are checked.
The test results showed on Mr. Yamada’s smiling face.
All the hard work has paid off with promising results.
One last test run before the car leaves for the US.
We are still aiming for faster lap times.
