The 1st run of the day is good and free from problems unlike the previous days, and the TOMEI CUSCO IMPREZA gets a good time.

4: Pan Speed RX7: 1.33.6540
So we are currently in second position with a 1.16 seconds difference with 1st place runner.
At this point we still are leaving our wild cards for later and may go for a better time in the next session.
Session 2
With added changes to the rear wing spoiler, and some fine adjustments to the suspension settings, we got a better time.
With many other hot competitors on the day, Tarzan Yamada gets the best time of the day with a 1.32.5320.
The best time updates are.
Sierra Sierra Evo remains at the top with a 1:32.2480
So we are still 0.28 seconds behind them.
Session 3
We had no improvements on our best time.
Pan Speed RX-7 gets a 1:32.454
So we finshed the first day in third place. |
When we finished, we decided it was time to change the aerodynamics for tomorrow. Our guy Mr. Nakajima from Voltex added an extra front canard, since we were runinng only one canard today, most other cars are running 2 like the CyberEVO car. This of course has a big effect on aerodynamics, so it's not just for looks (however it does look good too). Well we look forward to tomorrow to see if it does help. |
